Kingshot What to Spend Gems On

Unfortunately, there are stupid ways to spend gems in Kingshot. In this guide, I’ll go over the best things that you should actually spend gems on and what you should avoid. To get started, Kingshot is all about events. This doesn’t just apply to gems, but to every resource in the game. You need to check the calendar and see what is coming up in the next few days.

‍Keep in mind, that not all events are worth investing in. Some events give, things like EXP items, wood and food and speed-ups. These aren’t worth spending gems on. To really improve your Kingshot account, you need the good rewards. Things like important hero shards or great gear to equip your heroes with.

Kingshot Hero Roulette

‍At this moment, there are two things that stick out when it comes to gem spending. The first one, is the Hero Roulette. For Generation 1, you can get SSR hero shards from Saul. For generation 2, you can get hero shards for Zoe. Both are great heroes if you can get enough shards for them to ascend them to a decent star level.

However, don’t blindly jump into Hero Roulette events. Usually, you can match this with the Hall of Governors event. For Hall of Governors, you have the second day event, which gives you a lot of points to spin the Hero Roulette wheel. You want to make sure to spin the wheel on the day that Hall of Governors gives points for this. That way, you can easily rack up points.

‍Your gems aren’t endless. For the people who are free to play or only spend a little, you need to choose wisely how far you want to go on the Hero Roulette wheel. You get additional rewards for spinning the wheel 5, 15, 35, 70, and 120 times. You should at the very least push to 15.

These chests offer great rewards and are not to be missed (additional hero shards and books). If you can, you should go to 35, as this chest contains the best bang for your buck when it comes to shards. These are the most important things to know about the Hero Roulette. Unfortunately, spinning the wheel feels like a casino, but it is what it is.

Kingshot Spending Gems on VIP

‍Next up are the VIP levels. These are a bit more difficult to manage than the roulette. The reason for this is that you should push to at least VIP 4 before activating it. VIP 4 gives you a 10% construction speed boost. If you want to go even further than VIP 4, you should aim for VIP 9. This gives you another construction speed boost, an additional march queue, and daily mythic general hero shards.

‍You spend gems to activate the VIP levels. To activate it for 24 hours, you need to spend a 1000 gems. This is worthless imo. To activate it for one week, you need to spend 3000 gems. This is where you start to consider it. However, you should buy the 30-day VIP activation which costs you 10000 gems.

‍To increase your VIP level, you also spend gems. VIP XP is also granted through daily logins, and certain events can also reward this. The main bulk will be spending gems to push it higher. As you can imagine, boosting the level and the actual activation itself will cost you a lot of gems. For this reason, you need to be patient and wait until you at least reach level 4.

Going beyond VIP 9 is only for the big spenders. It requires a lot of gems, and the return on investment starts to go down. Free-to-play players should not push further than VIP 9.

How Not to Spend Your Gems

‍Spending gems is fun. Spending them on the wrong things is not so fun. Spending them at the wrong time is even worse. Again, make sure to check the calendar for upcoming events before you decide to spend gems. VIP and Roulette are great, but I can imagine that you spend them during some events as well.

Generally speaking, you should avoid spending gems on speed-ups or resources. However, if the event rewards are good enough for your account, go for it. Don’t spend them on things like speed-ups when there are no event rewards. This is throwing your gems away.

‍When you spot overlaps in events, this is usually the time to invest. It doesn’t happen all that often, so make sure you take advantage when it does. Don’t be afraid to skip events if they don’t strengthen your account.

If you want to spend a little on Kingshot, buying gems isn’t a bad idea. They are versatile to use, however, always be careful with spending real money. Only do this if you plan on spending quite a bit of time in this mobile game.
